A magazine for Chinese drama
cdramaland is an independent fan magazine for English-speaking cdrama viewers. Born May 2026, starting with one drama (Pursuit of Jade) and one tool (AI fan-scene generator), with more on the roadmap.
We're unaffiliated with any production company, streamer, cast member, or talent agency. Editorial coverage is fair-use commentary on publicly available press materials.
What We're Working On
Multi-drama, real news, real discussion

Actor portraits are sourced per the priority chain in docs/ACTOR_DATA_SOP.md: Wikimedia Commons (CC license) first, then iQIYI / Tencent / WeTV press kits (editorial fair use), then official studio Weibo. The fan-scene tool output is AI-generated via kie.ai GPT Image 2 with role-only prompts (never real actor names) — see CLAUDE.md for the anti-pattern.
